bad trip. biggest regret ko ngayon? hindi ako nakapunta sa reunion concert ng e-heads. nagkaroon kami ng cassette tape ng albums nila from ultraelectromagnetic pop hanggang sticker happy (or aloha milkyway ba, whichever came last), including bananatype EP. (the most number of albums we have from the same artist). after that we lost touch. pero ngayon ko lang na-realize na ganon ako kalaking fan ng eraserheads. ang sama, sama kasi ng loob ko ngayon. oh and im so sorry to hear about what happened to Ely. good thing he's in a stable condition now. get well!

fixated talaga ako sa 90s. here's another youtube find. remember music bureau on abc5? the one hosted by mr francism at kung hindi ako nagkakamali, ito ang palabas bago mag-tropang trumpo. naaaliw ako pag nakakakita ako ng mga ganitong videos sa net. the bands, music, the fashion, sarap balikan hehe! miss ko na ang color it red, the youth, teeth, the dawn, after image, agaw agimat, tribal fish, grin dept, introvoys (hehe), atbp! sana may mag-upload pa ng ibang videos.

led zep's mr. page (sweeeet!) along with leona lewis and david beckham went to Beijing to represent Britain in the olympic closing ceremony. i knew the closing ceremony will be just as stunning as the opening! too bad i missed it! unfortunately, all of the videos in youtube have been taken down already. this video is just a compilation of pictures from that event.

overjoyed

yesterday my eleven-year-old cousin got home from school all excited to show me something. she told me not to get too overjoyed as she reached into her bag and pulled out her surprise--torn japanese magazine pages that contain jin akanishi, KAT-TUN and other JE idol articles!!! i got so ecstatic and puzzled at the same time. are those for real? how the heck was she able to get those? in school!? then she told me they had this activity to make a collage out of old magazines and her classmate happened to bring 2006 issues of myojo and duet mags, a magazine that solely features japanese idols (they're like the Bop, BB and Teenbeat of japan). hahaha kids' junk nowadays... good thing they didn't cut out jin's pic for their project. ;D although i've already seen those articles online from fan scans, it still feels different when you are holding the real thing even if it's not the whole mag. buti na lang my cousin is smart enough to know about my love for those kinds of stuff particularly for jin which i am constantly denying to her. now that i cant deny it anymore, she always makes sumbong to my parents about my jin addiction. she could be so annoying but i still thank God for an awesome little cousin! by the way, she told her classmate to bring more of those mags today. YATTA!

you see, even if i try to keep myself from going online so i could stop fangirling, this happens. for the past few months i've been blogging about my japanese boys and now im afraid this "men-who-can-pull-off-a-feminine-look fetish" keeps getting worse. oh well at least im happy.
